Sarah (Director of Photography)

Sarah is one of our most familiar faces, shooting for Sandpit Photos since 2005 “I do lots of different types of photography, but my favourite is still children’s photography. I love being around the kids as they are so much fun and have such a beautiful way of looking at the world, and I love the images that come from this.

With a background in Child Care and a love of photography, this is the perfect job for me. I love having fun with the kids and capturing their individual personalities. It is a great team here at Sandpit and we always have so much fun on the shoots.

I have a strong passion for portrait photography and working with children and this career combines my two interests perfectly. I thoroughly enjoy capturing the unique character and essence of children, watching their curiosity and innocence brightens my day and being apart of these special moments is truly rewarding. I am very lucky to have fun everyday, making children smile.

Photography has been my passion since I was young and capturing children and their cheeky ways is one of the best aspects of it. After starting a Wedding/Portrait business in 2010, I was offered the opportunity to work with Sandpit Photos. As a mother of two young children, I jumped at the chance to give other parents memories of their children’s experiences as they grow.

I have been working with children for the past eight years and I have my Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education. I’ve always had an interest in photography and love combining my two passions. Working with children has meant that I have been lucky enough to see how their smile can brighten anyone’s day and I love being able to make that happen with the photos I take.

From as young as I can remember, I have had a camera in my hands. I have worked in the photographic industry for almost 30 years. After having my daughter 9 years ago, I realised how much fun it is to photograph children so turned my focus to children’s photography. I am now very lucky to be working for Sandpit Photos and look forward to going to work everyday and enjoying the fun and laughter we have with the children.

Having a background in performing arts and working in children’s pantomime for years. I have combined with Diploma in Digital Media and the love of all things photographic and film, has made being a part of the Sandpit family the perfect blend of  my skill sets. Not only do I enjoy my smiling audience but I get to capture that and produce a beautiful lasting photograph.

I gained a passion for photography when travelling & I wanted  a way to remember the experiences. I started taking photos for local theatre companies & began actively learning more about what a camera can do.

Ever since I was young I have always been really creative. I would always love taking photos using my parents old film camera. Getting to work with children is an extra bonus because no two days are the same and I get to come home with a smile on my face.

Portrait photography has always been a passion of mine. I love being a part of the team at Sandpit. It is such an honour to create beautiful photographic memories for families.

I  feel really privileged to be able to produce beautiful images that will be treasured for years to come.

I’ve worked with children for many years both in childcare and as a teachers aid. I am a mum with a love of photography and capturing those precious moments.

I have always been an enthusiastic photographer and I’ve had my own business for the last 7 years. I could take photographs all day, every day! Children’s portraits are my passion and I am fortunate to be able to do this as my profession. I love making memories for everyone!

Photography has been has been a passion of mine from a young age. Since studying Graphic Design and exploring a variety of creative paths, I’m always being lead back to photography. Making children smile and capturing memories for their families is something I find incredibly rewarding. The kids also never fail to put a smile on my face.

As a watercolour portrait artist with a background in child care centres I have always loved anything to do with art, photography and children. It’s so special to be able to capture children’s beautiful smiles for them and their families. I never thought I would have the privilege of being part of such a creative company and team!

I have completed a diploma of Photo Imaging at Sydney Ultimo Tafe in 2015 and a Certificate III in Fine Arts Photography in 2014. With a strong passion for photography, children and the outdoors combining them created my dream job. I love having the freedom at Sandpit Photos to create beautiful images that are lasting memories for families.

I have worked teaching Martial Arts to children for many years and absolutely love working with children. I am also very creative, so this is the perfect job for me. I am able to combine my creativity and working with children, in a really fun environment, surrounded by a great team of photographers.
